In 2025, from 7 to 9 October saw the 26th International Seafood Exhibition CONXEMAR 2025, one of the most important professional events in Europe, take place on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Vigo, Spain. The exhibition brought together more than 800 companies and around 30,000 industry professionals from 46 countries, providing a platform for international cooperation, market trend analysis and export development.
Latvia was represented by Kaigo.lv, which presented at CONXEMAR a range of Alaskan wild salmon products, which are made from salmon caught in Alaska and currently produced in Latvia. The focus of the company's participation was on practical cooperation with European partners, as well as product positioning for a professional audience, where stability of quality, transparency of origin and functionality of the final product are essential.

"Our approach is based on consistency – consistent quality, clear sourcing and predictable cooperation. CONXEMAR is an exhibition that highlights the real needs of the industry and the direction of the market," says Igor Sugako, founder of Kaigo.lv.
Kaigo.lv presented salmon products suitable for both retail and HoReCa segments, emphasising thoughtful processing, sustainable use of raw materials and modern applications in the market.

Strategic representation in the US industry exposition – Kaigo.lv's participation in the exhibition was part of the Alaska Seafood Joint Exposition, which represents companies with proven capacity to work in international markets. The selection of participants is based on the companies' ability to ensure consistent quality, compliance with sustainability principles and professional representation of Alaska's wild seafood products outside the USA.
Dozens of companies, including Kaigo.lv, were brought together in this exhibition. The company's presence confirms that KAIGO's product concept and development direction are aligned with Alaska's seafood export strategy, which prioritises transparency of origin, sustainable fishing and value addition in the final product.
