KAIGO.lv took part in Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global 2026 in Barcelona, presenting products made from wild-caught Alaska salmon and establishing new contacts with international seafood industry partners.

The trade show, held in Barcelona, Spain, from 21 to 23 April 2026, allowed the company to showcase its product portfolio, develop new export contacts and strengthen cooperation with international industry partners.

The 2026 edition reached a historic scale, attracting more than 35,500 industry professionals and 2,290 exhibitors from 85 countries, with extensive representation from national and regional pavilions. The total net exhibition area exceeded 52,980 square metres, making it the largest edition in the event’s history in terms of both attendance and exhibition space.

KAIGO.lv participated as part of the Alaska Seafood Pavilion in cooperation with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI, United States), which represents Alaska’s seafood industry internationally and brings together industry companies, processors, exporters and partners.

During the event, KAIGO.lv focused on discussions with prospective distribution partners, wholesale companies, representatives of the HoReCa sector and retail buyers seeking distinctive, high-quality and traceable wild-caught fish products. Face-to-face meetings are essential for building new business relationships, strengthening mutual trust and assessing opportunities for long-term cooperation.

KAIGO.lv’s offering is built around wild-caught Alaska salmon products and Latvia’s fish-processing expertise, which together create a distinctive story for international buyers.

The trade show allowed the company not only to present its existing product range but also to discuss new forms of cooperation, export opportunities and potential development directions with international partners.

The 2026 event programme placed particular emphasis on sustainable supply chains, traceability, ESG approaches, aquaculture innovation and the development of international trade. These areas are playing an increasingly important role in shaping the future of the seafood industry and buyer decisions in international markets.

KAIGO.lv’s participation in Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global 2026 reflects the company’s objective of developing exports, expanding its network of cooperation partners and raising the international profile of Latvia’s fish-processing sector.

The next Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global will take place in Barcelona from 20 to 22 April 2027.
